Existen varios tipos de tratamientos de fertilidad dependiendo de si la pareja utiliza sus propios \u00f3vulos y espermatozoides o requiere el uso de un \u00f3vulo o un semen de donante. Los pacientes en grupos de mayor edad tienen algunas opciones alternativas cuando se trata de un tratamiento de FIV exitoso. Los procedimientos ser\u00e1n diferentes en ambos casos:<\/p>\n<p>1- Mujeres mayores de 45 a\u00f1os que quisieran utilizar sus propios \u00f3vulos para el embarazo: En este grupo, el paso m\u00e1s importante es hacer una valoraci\u00f3n del nivel de fertilidad. Esta valoraci\u00f3n la hace <a title=\"\" href=\"\/es\/testing\/\">pruebas hormonales<\/a>. En este grupo de edad, es posible que las pruebas est\u00e1ndar de FSH\/LH no produzcan resultados precisos, por lo tanto, adem\u00e1s de las pruebas de FSH\/LH, solicitamos espec\u00edficamente la prueba de la hormona antim\u00fclleriana (AMH) para que podamos hacer una evaluaci\u00f3n de la reservas ov\u00e1ricas y proceder con la planificaci\u00f3n del tratamiento en consecuencia.
